2021 Happy New Year I Hope You Dance By Lee Ann Womack

With 2025 now drawing to a close I am taking this time to wish you a Happy New Year for 2026.

Usually I am to do a you tube video to welcoming in the new year and to show case the year I have had.

Sadly I have not been able to do this for 2025, due to my illness, disabilities and once again facing homelessness.

These are things that I would like to talk about more in 2026, also to showcase thought out 2026 to promote information and awareness about these.

I know that the say “A picture paints a thousand words.” So I will aim to do this though my art.

Saturnalia Explained

Happy Satunalia December 17 to December 23

Saturnalia is an ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December in the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities until 19 December.

By the 1st century BC, the celebration had been extended until 23 December, for a total of seven days of festivities. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike.

A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed and presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days".

2025 for me so far is the year from hell!

It started off with me doing my anual charity event that I will talk about in more detail over the next few weeks.

January until March my children had chickhen Pox so I needed up being at ohome and nursing them back to health.

April until Spetmber I myself was in and out of hoispital agin will talk more about this over the next few weeks.

Now in October-November I was served with a section 21 by my land lord.

For the past 10 years I have looked at becoming self emplpoyed again, but not having a fixed abode or a bussiness adress I have found this to be a challange so have manily done every thing that I love and enjoy with my children on a hobby basies and try out new things and see what may peek peoples intrest.

The main things being and thing that includes nature, wildlife and education.

So I will be focusiong on these in 2026 and looking for somehwere new to live with my children and hopefully work from.

After the post that I have previously done in my home Town Nuneaton, they had a local protest on Saturaday 9th August 2025 About the same thing.

It was amazzing how many people attended the event and where not afraid to stand in unison for the same thing.

Makeing sure that they home town is a safe place to live for their families, friends and loved ones.

Having some where safe to call home. Miss K L Slomczynski

Good afternoon, given the restent events that have taken place again in Nuneaton it is important to keep the people who live with in our community safe.

Speaking from experience life is not longer like it use to be when I under the age of 18.

Over the past ten years many of the street where I grow up have now been filled with HMO's, by to let land lords and are no longer family homes or for anyone thinking about starting a family.

Due to not knowing people who live localy any more due to HOM's and privately rented properties changing hands almost every six months is becoming difficultl for anyone to know any one.

So how is anyone to stay safe and keep their friends and familes safe to?

I stongly belive that in the UK the law aroung HMO's and Privately properies need to change.

This is not going to happen over night and will take time.

But every little will help and one way of doing this would be to start local and then spider web out from their.

In Nuneaton where I live we still have local counil repersentative that are responable for each ward thought out Nuneaton and Bedworth Brough council.

We also have country councillors that work thought Shire Hall that repersents Warwickshire County Council.

Then we have a local MP.

So to healp to create change then any one intrested in doing so need to write to their local councilor, County Concilor and MP.

So for centries flower have been used for a number of things thoughout human history.

They have been used for medical reasons, they are symbolic and also for love.

Each flower as it own meaning and can say alot if you ever give flowers to some one in your life.

So over the last few years I have used the Daisy on some of my socail profiles and this is why.

So over the last year I have used the Daisy.

Most of the photos that you see only my socila media have been taken by myslef. If I have not taken them I will usally say who took them and include link(s) to that person if posible.

So why the Daisy?

The Dasiy repesents the following.

The family name Asteraceae comes from the Latin word aster, which means star.

So at this moment in time I have now changed my flower to a Marigold.

But Why?

This flower is known as the ‘herb of the sun,’; with its fiery yellow, orange, and red hues carry meanings of

Warmth, happiness, joy, optimism, and good luck. Yet, marigold symbolism also carries darker emotions, such as jealousy, grief, despair, and mourning.

So I have chosien this flower due to the way people with disablities and hinden disablities are viewed by people within socielty.

The Marigolds genus is the Calendula family, which is a Latin name that means “little clock.”

Which again is why I have used it, beacuse anyone with an illness or disablity the one thing that will effect them is time.

17th July 2025 how to make you money go futher during summer 2025 By Miss K L Slomczynski

For a number of years now I have been following Nomadic Matt, but when it come to traveling and visiting places of intrest their is not much about the UK.

So this blog is going to include information about the UK and will spider web for their when it comes to traveling and trying to make your money go futher during the Summer Holidays of 2025.

So with all of the schools breaking up on 18th July in Nuneaton and Bedworth, alot of parents and guardians are going to be in the same ituation.

I am sure that alot of you are going to be thinking "OMG!" "Six weeks of no school, how much will this cost me."

With a £1.00 no longer being worth a £1.00 any more You could easly be looking at speanding any where between £10.00 to £20.00 person and that may only get you a packet of crisps, per pack sandwiche, a bottle of water and a piece of fruit and a chocolate bar.

So speanding about £10.00-£20.00 per head before you have even put fule in the car or paid for public transport is a lot of money to pay out over 6 weeks. coyld quite easly work out at about £70.00 per week and then could work at about £420.00 per person in the space of 6 weeks.

So who would yu maker your money go futher during Summer 2025?

Their are anumber ways that this may beable able to be achived if you have been able to some of the following before the Summer holidays.
